And now I definitely see how people can "fill a whole website" with their stuff (I hope you see that too, look at all you've written on your blog!). I am looking forward to making podcasts about things that aren't very important (because I REALLY got excited about the editing on Garageband), but also things that I find important and will want to dedicate in a special way (with sound effects and edits, of course).

I officially feel more competent in the area of technology, and I can thank 504 for that!Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10419860873040455812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2278736220346488277.post-45838229119955282072012-08-06T18:17:52.681-07:002012-08-06T18:17:52.681-07:00Musetta --

I know that it isn't necessarily going to be easy to find a job but at least I know it's possible. and funny, i was checking out this evening at a grocery store and the man asked me what I was going to school for. After saying I wanted to be a history teacher he chuckled and said, well good luck finding a job. I was really defeated for a moment, but I think it really is just pessimism getting the best of people. I have complete faith that we can all find something eventually, and i think we're in a good program to help us with it.Tinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12863462463359527027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2278736220346488277.post-40562753541812114092012-08-06T13:00:06.009-07:002012-08-06T13:00:06.009-07:00Wah, our own classrooms in a year! What a thrilli...Wah, our own classrooms in a year! What a thrilling yet terrifying thought!

I was the same way about websites. When I heard someone had their own website, I thought they were some type of tech genius that knew how to program everything and anything. When I found out I could make one too, I felt like one of those much envied tech geniuses. But that doesn't mean I am going to let on how easy it is to make a website, I would like to feel like a genius for a bit longer before my facade falls.

I am also looking forward to finding things to fill my website with. Hopefully our time as student teachers will expose us to new and memorable experiences and lessons that can fill our websites.

I agree the former MACers provided a sense of relief. The world doesn't have to end if I am teaching in a school with an ancient computer that crashes after three weeks- my technology training will make me a better adapter for when lessons don't go as planned.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09875793521192078641noreply@blogger.com
